I have product listings pages that consist of a multi-product node picker (example url is: furniture/sofas-armchairs/sofas/). I have created a working IContentFinder so that furniture/sofas-armchairs/sofas/sofa1 returns a page with the model set to the correct product.
On a simple template that is not part of the site structure this works fine. The problem is that when I try to render this page inside the website I get lots of partial view errors because the content does not have a parent / does not have the correct parent.
I was hoping I could set the parent dynamically inside the IContentFinder but I can't find a way to do this.
Basically the product's parent will be based on the product listings page rather than set to the store root. It may also be that the same product will be contained in multiple product listings pages.
Q. Can this be done in Merchello? If so, any ideas how I implement such a solution?
