I am using Merchello 2.4 and I realize that searching by ModelNumber is not working on the MerchelloProductIndexSet dispite the Field is there. Even in the Backoffice search is not working (I believe it uses the same index).
Two questions: Why this is not working? It is already fixed on new releases?
I would like in a near future add field from my detachedContent object to the Product Index search. I have nearly 16000 products, it would be very helpfull to add those field at index. From a quick search I see that we can hook the GatheringNodeData event on Examine ExamineManager. I am on the right path?
