    uWebshop install problem

    Hey,

I'm searching for a good shop solution and wanted to check the demo store of uWebshop2 but it won't install properly for me.

I installed a new version of Umbraco 7.2.3 first with the Fanoe-Starterkit and later without any starterkit. Then downloaded the "uwebshop2.6.1.0.foundation.umbraco7.package.installer" which is labeled for the Umbraco 7.2.x versions and installed the package through the developer section (install local package).

After my browser reloads I get the following screen:

    Just a plain "loading" screen.

Same goes for the webshop demo I downloaded from http://uwebshop.com/download/ .

When installed both packages I get the Datatype-Editors and Templates of the shop, but no document types and because of that no front-end pages I can visit.

Am I doing something wrong here or do I need to add the document types by myself?

If you are not running the database / site localhost, it can take some time for Umbraco to move everything into the right spot and then move all the stuff into the database, also if you are running localhost, i dont know if uwebshop supports a MSSQL CE Database so you should try and change that and see if that makes a difference, i had this problem once when i tried to install uCommerce.

But if it takes a long time to install, then dont worry its normal, just try and leave it until it is done.

With regards to the frontend, you wont get any views or other frontend stuff unless you install the demo store they have made, you do however get all the neccasery components to get a shop going, but i would deffinantly advise you to check out the demo store and learn from it to see how the code works :)
