    Object reference not set to an instance of an object - Saving / Publishing Post

    Hi

    We are using Umbraco v4.7.0 with uBlogsy v1.3.5.1 and when we try to Save or Save / Publish a post we are getting the following error.  Any ideas?

    Open up the browser console and look for js errors. Could be 3rd party js crashing the utagsy js which causes the json to be corrupted.

    Hi Anthony

    That did the trick.  I was using IE 9 when I switched to Firefox the issue disappeared.

    Thanks

    Great.

    Was there a console error? I'm curious what caused it.

    A stray console.log() somewhere?

    It's showing this in the console: -

    SCRIPT5009: 'JSON' is undefined

    editContent.aspx?id=6891, line 551 character 17

    I'm getting this same error in any browser I try. I'm on Umbraco version 6.02, uBlogsy version 3.0 with the hotfix in place. The only console error just says there was a 500 error.

    Anything I can try to be able to publish posts? If it helps, I did rearrange the structure a bit:

    Hi Will

    Did you fix your error?

    I find that a 500 error in the console is normally because Umbraco is either missing a file or some file does not have the correct permissions.

    Also, Umbraco 6.0.2 was a bit buggy...try upgrading to the latest.

    Try stopping your app, then delete your umbraco.config and examine indexes.
