Hi, i am having some problems with the trace showing up. I get the node in dev- section, but it is empty... tried to install as package in Umbraco and tried (twice) with nuget. All the files seems to be in plave but i get nothing as a result. When i try to go straight for the file with the URL "Umbraco/Backoffice/TraceLogViewer/TraceLog/GetLogData?logfileName=UmbracoTraceLog.txt" i get a "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 417 (Missing token)"
I have Umbraco 7.2.8 and i am trying with the diplo package 2.3.2. Any help would be appreciated :)
I've not heard of this issue before with my package, though I've read about it occasionally happening with Umbraco before. I think in older Umbraco versions it could happen if you were logged in to the front-end of the site as a member and also the back-end, it got authentication status confused. So maybe try clearing your cookies or opening back-end in an incognito/private session?
Another possibility might be that from v7.3.0 onward I inherit my controller from UmbracoAuthorizedJsonController rather than UmbracoAuthorizedApiController - I guess it's possible that this change doesn't work fully with older Umbraco versions? So you could try installing a version of the package pre 7.3.0 (ie. 2.2.7). Otherwise maybe look to upgrading Umbraco? There have been a lot of improvements since 7.2.8 :)
Only the node shows up
