I need to capture additional order information. In this case a gift message and a special instructions field. Does Merchello have the functionality to add checkout properties that will get saved along with the order? I realize the making another database table with the order id as a foreign key would work, but before I go down that road I thought asking the experts would help to guide my development efforts.
