    Upgrading from 1.0 to 2.1

    Questions/Suggestions

    What is the best way to upgrade from 1.0 to 2.1?

    When looking at the 1.0 package it says "no upgrades available".

    Any help with this is really appreciated.

    Hi Brendan,

    The upgrade functionality from within Umbraco is a black-box ... no idea how it should work!

    The options for upgrading uComponents are:

    1. Install the new package (as usual).  Downside of this is that you'll have 2 entries in the "Installed Packages" tree.
    2. Get the v2.2 package zip file - extract the DLL, rename it to "uComponents.Core.dll" - and copy that into your /bin folder. (replacing the old assembly)
