    Newsletter Studio subdomain licensing

Hi, I'm sorry if this has been answered previously but I can find no reference to it. Can you tell me if the domain licence for Newsletter Studio covers the use of subdomain sites in the same Umbraco instance?

    Many thanks,

    Adrian.

    Hi Adrian!

The short anwser is "it depends" =D

If the subdomains are different web sites it will have to have one license per domain but if you are running the same website with 2-3 subdomains for deferent departments ie. that would be one license.

Could you explain more about the subdomains? Then it would be esier for me to answer the question.

    Cheers!

Thanks Markus, I think you've answered the question there. As I understand it, it's going to be completely separate websites but use the same domain so the main site is mydomain.com and they'll have say tourism.mydomain.com as a separate site within the same Umbraco instance. So I think that means separate licences?

    Many thanks,

    Adrian.

    Hi Adrian!

Yes that sounds like a case for multiple licenses. How many different users will there be? Newsletter Studio doense have so many features for multi users senarios (ie. if a user from company A creates a letter a user from company B will be able to see that).... there are some ways to solve this but would have to know more about this to help you out.
