I'm trialling v7.12.4 and downloaded a copy locally.
I tried to change the "Language" field for the default user, and got an error message telling me that the email address was required.
It had an email address (the one used when I set up the CMS).
I used an alternative email address and that worked.
After changing the email address back to the original value, I tried change the language again, and this error recurs.
