So turns out I suffer from bad memory :-) - The issue has already been reported last week here http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-11571 and it's fixed in the upcoming patch release of Umbraco 7.12.1, which will be released early this week.
It not only happens on content pages, but within the developer section, where the new checkbox is used. I'll contact Cloud support and see if they can maybe have a look at my environments and replicate.
Checkbox - Autosaves the page?

I'm using the new true/false checkbox property editor on 7.12.
Is it suppose to "save" the content page when you change the state of the checkbox?

No that does not sound correct - Did you use it on a fresh install you have setup yourself or does it happen with the starter kit?

Just installed a fresh version of 7.12 and I can confirm this is happening too.
So this is something that should be filed on the issue tracker - Do you feel like doing it or would you like to have me do it? :)
