    User is null when trying to edit content/view users

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started
    Umbraco 7

    Hi,

    We've been unable to edit/create new content types recently, and have been seeing the following error in the logs:

    The only thing that's changed recently is I attempted to set up flexible load balancing in azure (with the sessionstate being stored in redis), but even when I revert all those changes we still see these errors.

    I set up a fresh umbraco(7.7.4) project, with a new database, minus load balancing and redis stuff, and managed to encounter the same error.

    Outside of umbraco, this fresh project did have Hangfire, Autofac, and was setup to use an azure storage container for media.

    I've got no idea what the problem could be, has anyone got any ideas that could help me out?

    I've tried to set up fresh Umbraco 7.7.4 projects a couple times, using the same addons (Autofac, Hangfire, etc), and now always seem to run into the same issue, including this error when trying to view the users list:

    Since everything that I set up was working fine for weeks before hand on a pre-existing project, what could suddenly cause Umbraco to completely break like this?

    Thought I should also add the nuget packages we've been working, that were working fine for weeks, and now won't even work in a fresh Umbraco project.

    Autofac (plus MVC and WebApi2) Hangfire (plus Autofac integration) Application Insights (plus log4net appender) Sendgrid UmbracoAzureFileSystemProviders.Azure
