    Link Checker - 3 same broken links on every page but they work?

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started
    Umbraco 7

    Every page on our site has 3 links - Our LinkedIn Page (999 Request denied), Share on LinkedIn (401 Unauthorized) and a Google Tag Manager URL (404 Not Found) that are showing as error status on Link Checker.

    No problems with Google Analytics relating to the tag manager - not sure why this is showing as it isn't clickable on the page? The LinkedIn links work fine with me and I suspect it's because you need to be logged in LinkedIn to successfully view the page.

    Any ideas to clear the errors?

    Check the source of the page (right click, View Source) - sometimes javascript on a page masks errors by replacing links and the like. You might find the page as the crawler sees it is different to that of a visitor.

    Thanks Steve. I've checked the source and the links are all fine. Should I assume that the crawler is seeing the pages differently and that it is okay? Is there anyway of clearing the errors so they don't show?
