Im running Umbraco using IIS Express through visual studio and any changes I make to a simple empty template only appear when I restart the server.

I have made sure to disable caching etc. Only when I change fcnMode to Default do the changes work but it takes much longer and I assume thats not how its meant to be run.

I have checked the logs and there are no errors, Im not using load balancing or anything like that, a completely fresh install (many fresh installs actually)

The changes do go through to the files, but they are not swapped back into the site

Any ideas?

Could this be related to file sharing through parallels?
