    MAC - VISUAL STUDIO 2017 - UMBRACO

    Hi Guys,

    I am fairly new to umbraco. I have been using it on my windows machine for a while but I have tried to install it on my MAC recently in Visual Studio 2017 however I wasn't able to run the application after adding it throught the NuGet.

    I found in UMBRACO documentation, that I have to install a VM and get windows so I can run visual studio etc...

    Is there an easier solution since the new VISUAL STUDIO 2017 is availaible for mac so I would presume it should run without a problem , however it isn't.

    Hi Pavol

    Umbraco won't run in VS for Mac because it runs on the full .NET Framework and VS for Mac only supports .NET Core web apps.
