I noticed there is a Dimensions setting for the RTE in the Grid datatype.
I've tried setting it with different values or leaving it empty and it doesn't seem to affect the actual height of the editor on the content tab, which always has about 140px height.
Does anyone know how to configure a bigger height?
Did you ever figure this out? I'm struggling with the same issue. For me, ideally, I'd like to reduce the default height and have it increase in size as more content is added.

I never solved this, the only workaround is a booklet on the browser that does some DOM manipulation to increase the RTE's height.
We're planning to upgrade Umbraco some day and hopefully that will solve this issue.
