    Importing content to Umbraco

I have a client who has an import job running to create nodes in Umbraco. Each import has about 150 rows to update or create. The whole process seems to be creeping memory on the site and crashing the site eventually. Any ideas on what could be happening?

My client used to have an import process which uses SQL stored procs to insert the data directly and I think this might have corrupted the database.

    Hi,

    • What version of Umbraco is it running?
    • How is the import being run - is it something custom using the ContentService or a package?
    • Can you recreate the issue on a local copy?
    • Is there anything in the log files that will help diagnose the issue?

    Steve
