The only (Single) Media Picker is the legacy version, which according to the documentation isn't recommended for use.
Is this a mistake? Did v9 have the new Single Media Picker?
I'm just trying to figure out if I should use the legacy version before I get too deep in development (recreating a lot of functionality from a prior Umbraco v7 site).
Unfortunately, the editors you can use for a macro are very much limited. For now I would use the legacy picker because there is nothing else. You could also create custom macro property editors if you're up for it: https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/extending/macro-parameter-editors/.
Thanks, Luuk (and sorry taking so long to reply), that's what I wound up doing.
The lack of macro parameters is terribly frustrating (and always has been). Right now I'm trying to get Nested Content working in a Macro (used Søren Kottal's Parameter Editor Generator package in v7 to do this before) and it's not going great :-)
Umbraco v10, Macro Parameter Editor, Single Media Picker Missing
For the default Macro Parameter Editors, I see:

why don't macros support the core data type / editors?
is working on a reply...
