Error when transferring media file using courier

    Hello,

I'm encountering an error when I try and transfer a file using courier from our staging environment to live. The error that comes back is:-

Status: 500 Server was unable to process request ---> The content item 4006 has an invalid path: -1 with parentID: 2630.

Any ideas as to whats causing this and how to sort it.

    Many thanks

    I have the same issue,

    I found 2 workarounds:

    1. to remove broker media on the live server via back office.

    2. you can try to recycle the live server and do courier again

    Hi Yakov,

Thanks for the reply, I've tried option 1 to no avail. Just looking to try option 2.

I'll let you know if that works.

    Thanks

for 1, you can remove it (from recycle bin too) and do courier again, or on destination server move it to root and move back to folder

    Hi Yakov,

Your solution worked, I just needed to restart the live website and it started working again.

Legend, thanks for your help - you managed to crack it quicker than the Umbraco support team :)

    Cheers

I have the same issue with our client. Restart is an only one-time solution, this is can occur again. I think the issue that currier brake XML cache for media.
