We have noticed that when a user uploads an image in the Media section by either dropping the file into the "Click here to upload" zone, or by actually clicking, "Click here to upload", that the author of those media items keeps showing up as the incorrect user - no matter which user uploads an image, the author for that upload is always myself (the original admin user).
Weirdly, if the user uses the elipses button (the 3 dots) to create a new item in the media folder instead, then it correctly shows that user as the author.
Can anyone think what might be causing this? The only change we have made that is remotely related to this is changing the UmbracoSettings.config cache to 1 second.
Another thing that has happened, which might be related, is in the Media repository, where the auto-incrementing folder numbers have jumped from something like 1066 to 3266 - however it continues to increment and work otherwise normally.

Using 7.5.8 and getting the behavior described above. Was there any resolution to the issue?
