    Umbraco with Angular Frontend

I am planing to make a Angular single page application with Umbraco as CMS. I had a looked at this guid http://www.nibble.be/?p=434, but there are som things it isn't handling:

    • How to handle "Public access"?
    • What about seleted template on the node?

Considering that the Umbraco backend is build on Angular, I am wondering why there isn't any packages or complete guides,  to set ud the frontend using Angular.

Thanks very much in advance :-)

    Hi pnr,

Perhaps this article from the last year advent calendar can give you some good information about working with AnguarJs on your frontend.

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

Thanks very much for your reply :-)

It is a good blogpost for getting stated, but i still need some advice on how to implement public access.

    You could also check http://kpensar.com/blog/2014/02/17/umbraco-hearts-angular-a-series-on-building-an-spa-application/

I have developed some front-ends following some of his directions.

Hope it can be useful, I am surprised the issue of Angular Front-end has not been yet top level request. So beautiful to work with

    Have fun

    Hi mellogrand

Thanks very much for your reply!

I have also found the blog post you refere to, and it is a very good blog post! but the public access is not implemented in any of the blog post I have found.

I would be nice with an Angular package that make Umbraco work 100% with Angular "out of the box".

    Hi pnr,

How have you worked to incorporate Angular2 with Umbraco?

Hi Simon I haven’t used Angular 2. I also decided not to use Umbraco with a single page application. So I am using Angular, but primary for all the things that Umbraco is not handling. And the site is not a SPA 

It is such complicated to combine umbraco cms with a frontend Angular Single Page Application?

Because I am in a dilemma where to manage content then, if using only Angular2.
