Blowery Compression issue with Umbraco backend

    Hi,

I have used blowery http compression (using gzip) to compress some files on a website I am working on. This is all fine except that the Rich Text Editor in the umbraco backend has now disappeared.

I have tried excluding various file types and paths from the compression but has had no luck in resolving the issue. Has anyone come across a similar problem or got any suggestions for possible solutions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jonny

    Hi,

you might want to exclude umbraco/plugins/tinymce3/ and umbraco/users/PermissionEditor.aspx

I had the same issue with my compression-package (http://our.umbraco.org/projects/peterdcompress) and this resolved the issue for me.

    Thanks for the reply Peter.

Unfortunately this didn't solve my problem. I had tried out your package in the past, but I forgot about it this time around! I'll be using that instead of blowery as its much easier to set up :)

    Thanks again,

    Jonny
