    Integration with 3rd party translation system

    Extending Umbraco and using the API
    Umbraco 7

    Does anyone try to integrate Umbraco with 3rd party translation systems? How has notifications been managed (on which side)? How did translation status tracking work? Was it implemented in Umbraco or in 3rd party system? Is there any security issues occurs?

    Hi Anna,

    I've not had a vast amount of experience with translations, however I don't believe the out of the box translation functionality in Umbraco is that comprehensive.

    A very good translation package was recently released that allows for integration with 3rd party systems, so I would suggest looking into that:

    It is free to use for 2 languages I believe (your primary and one other), but it does have licensing costs after that.
