I would like the content editor of a site to be able to add "title" and "alt" tags in the media picker. I know that it's possible to add fields to the media item, but that doesn't really work for me, as we often have to support multi-lingual sites. If the title was directly on media, the editor would have to upload multiple versions of the same media. I could simply add more datatypes on the document type, but I would like it more streamlined than that.
Currently it's unfortunately not possible to have these fields added when the image is selected.
I've created a feature request for the alt attribute here http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-2716, which I would appreciate that you go and vote up and add a comment about it would be nice to be able to set the title attribute as well.
The other workarounds I can think of are not really valid solutions since it's too cumbersome to do and hence a bad experience for the editor, which we don't want.
The media picker in the RTE has some of what I want already. Is it really that difficult to extend the normal media picker with some of the features from the RTE media picker?
