    Examine XLST extensions and searching PDFs

    Hi,

    Experimenting with Shannon's demo using the Examine XSLT search extension. Tried to see if the pdf index set (which seems to have been generated OK) can be searched using the following:

    <xsl:variable name="results" select="examine:Search('test','false','PDFSearcher')"/>

    However, getting the following error:

    System.OverflowException: Value was either too large or too small for an Int32.

    Any insights would be most welcome!

    At a guess its finding the pdf then doing a new Node(pdfid) which is obviously a media file and trying to get some properties on it and that is causing the exception?  You will need to debug it to see exactly whats going.

    Ismail,

    Thanks for the reply.  Will look into this a bit further, but may just end up going with a user control instead.
