Now, instaling this package on another website gives 500 internal server error... its like no items are found in package...

Other items like templates, doc types etc were successfully installed .... but content nodes are not getting inserted in package.

    Hi heather

How much have you included in the package? Is it only umbraco items or does it also contain files? If so what files does it contain - is there any custom code etc? And are the Umbraco version identical? (Then one you create the package on and the one you install the package on).

Have you tried to simply just make an iis reset to see if that solves anything? And have you double checked that it not due to permissions being messed up for some reason?

Looking forward to hear more about this.

    /Jan

For now, problm is solved.. i.e. we just shifted whole data to new server as it is through ftp, not used package to shift data....

And yes, both versions are same, permissions are also proper.

    Hi hetaurhet

Ok, good to hear you were able to move forward. Perhaps you should consider buying a courier license instead of using package to do deploy? :)
