In our application we create as StudentAdmin user type that has permission to Content, Media, Members, Users, and a Custom Reporting area. the problem with the members area is we control the actual member groups, and do not want the client to be able to create or delete any groups, Since certain custom functions are tied to them and the customer is charged for each member group. any suggestion on how to proceed other than creating our own members section It woud be nice if you could apply the same process of setting permissions for umbraco users on items in members tree like you do in the content tree.
