    Error after uninstalling UCommerceDemoStore package

    Hello uCommerce folk,

Running Umbraco 7.1 from VS (Release Run in IE) I installed UCommerce OK,  I then installed UCommerceDemoStore and after that the site hung ( An exception of type 'System.NullReferenceException' occurred in App_Web_catalog.cshtml.4b7a33be.decg7yzf.dll but was not handled in user code ).  So I restarted Umbraco and UNinstalled the UCommerceDemoStore package. However each time I now restart Umbraco from within VS I now get the error below in the browser (Same error for both the home page and BackOffice).

I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue.

    Thanks  Terry Clancy

    Hi Terry,

It seems that the uninstall doesn't clean up your configuration files. But that can be done manually :-)

    - Go to the following folder: umbraco/ucommerce/configuration/
    - Open the file "custom.config"
    - There should be a component containing "UCommerce.RazorStore.Services.AssemblyTag".
    - Remove that part from the configuration file and restart/recycle your app pool.

And you should be good to go.

Yep that solved it - thanks Martin.

Unfortunatley I then encountered another installation problem - but I will start a new thread on that,

    Thanks again
