Since there is a difference in the length of different characters it would be nice if the built in Title and Description fields supported max width instead of characters like they on e.g. https://www.portent.com/serp-preview-tool

There might be a config option in the future with a default option. And I am aware of recent changes but these are not implemented globally by Google yet. And checks are based on Google recommendation not SEO Company ones but it is on the radar.
