As of version 1.6 (PRO only), you are able to define a startnode. Simply add the startnode to the function, example: GenerateDates($startdate,$enddate,'event',1050)
If you have multiple sections in umbraco where you use the events (with the same alias), you can display them all on the startpage for example. If you want to display only the events within a certain section, you can now accomplish that by supplying the startnode.
PDCalendar PRO now allows you to define a startnode

I haven't used the calendar for a while Peter, what advantage does this have?
