Hi Swathi and welcome to our :)

I'm not too familiar with this package but I'm wondering what version of Umbraco you're using and what version of the package that is installed?

Could you also please try checking the trace log in /App_Data/Logs and see if there is anything marked with "ERROR" or "WARNING", which might be related to this issue?

    /Jan

This package contains .NET binary files that might not be compatible with this version of Umbraco. If you aren't sure what these errors mean or why they are listed please contact the package creator.

    Error report

Also got this error while installing the package

    • This package could not be verified for compatibility. An error occurred while loading a referenced assembly 'System.Web.Mvc' see error log for full details.

    Hi Swati

Good to hear that - Do you mind sharing what you had to change so others might benefit if they come across the same issue at some time?

    Cheers, Jan

    Hi jan,

    This is the solution>>

There is an xml file called 'SmartBlog.Config' in the Config folder inside the solution explorer.

This Has few default settings such as >> sendApproveEmail , moderatorCommentEmail, etc

Edit these respectively, and it should work!

Hope its usefull for others too :)

FYI, the controller is compiled into the dll and you can edit the configuration from the back office of the website using the management panel on the root node of the site.
