    Member Import - special characters

    Using CMSImport

    Hi,

    i try to import members from a CSV file with special characters in it (e.g. german รค). It seems like they are not recognized when they are imported. Instead they are replaced with an "?" sign.

    HI Matthias,

    Make sure the csv file is saved as utf-8 then all should be good. If you view the file in Notepad you propably see the ? sign also the it's saved as ANSI.

    Notepad did the trick, thanks!
    I tried to save the CSV in utf-8 in Excel before, but it seems that it was ignored.

    Great to hear that it's fixed. I hope one day I figure out a way to avoid this save as utf-8 thing :)
