Hi,

We want to use Merchello as a base shop for a customer. This customer has products in Navision.

What I want to do is use the Navision products as base products, enrich where needed (extra product images for example) and use them as if they were Merchello products.

Merchello looks ideal for this type of application because the product and the extended content are separated already. Also Merchello is has events where we can hook our communication with Navision in to in case of a order or something else.

I'm curious about what you, the packagedevelopers, and everyone else's opinion is about this idea.

Has anyone tried this already? What are the pitfalls with projects like this?
