    Live Editing Issue

    Tribal Yet Another Media Picker 4

    Hello,

    I'm currently trying to use "Tribal Yet Another Media Picker 4" in LiveEditing mode, but i'm facing difficulties about it.

    Indeed, when I switch in that mode and click the picture selected for a node, the control with "delete and choose" button appears. But when I click on the choose button nothing happen. Iit doesn't open the selecting window.

    Here is the call :

     <umbraco:Item field="Image" runat="server" />

    where Image is a property of type YAMP4.

    Is there anything to add in order that feature function properly.

    Hello David,

    The Tribal Yet Another Media Picker isn't designed for LiveEditing. If you click on the delete or choose button it wants to open an Umbraco pop-up. The code assumes it's in an iframe an needs to call the Umbraco pop-up from it's parent (calling 'top.openModal'). Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the reply.
    I'm ashamed to admit that I've switch to "Improved Media Picker" which is actually designed for that kind of use.
    But keep working on YAMP, I really think that interface is really good and I've meet some other limitation with "Improved Media Picker".
    So I will wait for update with pleasure.
