I have installed this nice package and found that it created a "Yet Another Media Picker 4" datatype which uses a 'Ntext' database datatype instead of the 'Integer' used by the standard Media Picker.
This gave me some compatibility problems when trying to use it as a drop-in replacement for the standard media picker, so I wandered if a 'Ntext' is really necessary or it can be used also with an 'Integer'.
Moreover, using an 'Ntext' here is an absolute overkill, since it is one of the worst performing datatype in SQL Server.
I have the reverse problem. I have an old YAMP website and can't use the new media picker. I will have to go through the site progmatically and update them. :-(
Also I just wondered if this works in Firefox? YAMP 1 didn't work too well....
TYAMP4 only works in Umbraco 4 and the old YAMP is created for Umbraco 3. This new version also works in Firefox because all the old popups have been replace with the default popup of Umbraco (which is new in Umbraco 4).
I've updated Tribal Yet Another Media Picker to version 1.1. In this new version the mediaId will always be saved as an integer. You can download it here.
Which Database datatype

Thanks for the advice! I'll try to update it soon and make it an integer.
