We are seriously looking at using Umbraco but do have some concerns. Could existing users please supply URL's to their Umbraco sites so that we can see what is actually possible with the 'friendly CMS'.
An upgrade of a site from a pre-existing CMS to Umbraco. Integrates with existing database systems, and provides two different types of site login area for suppliers and customers.
It seems that any 'look & feel' can be obtained and that there is no limitations. I am seriously pressed for time and need to deliver a project within the next month.
Is there any chance in sharing the document types, templates, Stylesheets etc for reedinpartnership?
I'm afraid that won't be possible for a number of reasons, the main one being that I don't have access to those files any more. Also, they belong to the agency that employed me to do the work, so it wouldn't be ethical for me to start handing them out.
A month could be okay to get your site going - feel free to abuse this forum and get in touch with Umbracians with questions and problems. I think you'll find you'll get a lot of help - it's a very friendly community! You can contact me directly through my website http://web-garden.co.uk if you have any questions. There's also the option of Umbraco Pro support (http://www.umbraco.org/products/umbraco-pro) - if your client will pay for it then you get access to the greatest minds in the Umbraco community who can help you with all sorts of issues, including the architecture of the site, best practices, etc. And finally there is Umbraco TV (http://www.umbraco.org/videos) - well worth the subscription fee for some excellent screencasts on a variety of development issues.

If you have the tools and the time you can get the code and piece together the template and stylesheet. I do not really want to get into the details of this, but it can easily be done :d/

Lots of reuseable components, a member login area, Google maps integration, etc.
Hope that helps you make your decision!

Hi David,
What commerce solution did you use with Umbraco for the singlemaltwhiskyshop.com site? Did you use commerce4Umbraco or something else? I would be interested to know.
