Umbraco not publishing changes unless application pool reset.

When I make any changes to even empty sites the changes only go through once I have reset the application pool.

Setting fcnMode to disabled works, however it takes much longer than it should.

This is a clean install, using visual studio -> IIS express on windows 10.

    Hi Joe

What is the code of your page? Can you share views code?

    Maybe some macro caching?

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Sorry for the late reply.

I tried multiple fresh installs on a windows 10 virtual machine (parallels) using a shared drive.

0 code was added and the problem persisted regardless of whether I was doing it on Windows/Mac side.

I followed a few guides on using Visual Studio & IIS Express to make it so my Mac side could use the same localhost.

In the end I stopped using Umbraco and switched to a different CMS.
