As of last week, I'm unable to upload PDF files to the Media area. I am strictly a front-end user as I acquired a website that was developed in Umbraco and am tasked with updating content and such. I've searched this Forum, but have seen nothing related to this issue recently. When I attempt to upload a PDF file, I receive just a message in red saying "An error has occurred." -- no further information. The file is within the size constraint, so that's not the problem. Any suggestions?

    Hi Camie,

This reply might come a little too late but I had a similar problem. When I spoke to my content editor, the pdf file wasn't a genuine pdf - the file extension was something else entirely but the way it was displayed in iOS didn't show this until I looked at the file properties - it was a .pdf.xxx

Might be a long shot but it is worth have a look just in case.

    Thanks,

    Emma
