    Installing Package Issue

    hi there

Really strange issue I hope someone can provide suggestions on.

    This is the scenario

    1. I create an Umbraco site (V 7.5.13) using Visual Studio and Nuget with a SQL database - this is on my local machine and is running under a "localhost" URL.
    2. I install the TXT starter kit as part of the installation process
    3. I go to Developer and locate the Merchello package
    4. The information screen appears and I can click the Install Package button.
    5. The screen then simply refreshes back to the package listing.

The above I have done at work and have experienced no problems.

I have tried both Chrome and Firefox with the same behaviour.

There are no error logs and nothing in the developer console to indicate a problem.

Has anyone else experienced this, or can offer suggestions ?

    Thanks

    Nigel

Further to previous post, I have now tried running my test site via http://merchello.local instead of via debug mode in Visual Studio.

The Merchello package install worked fine this way.

This weirdness did not occur at work and am stumped as to why / what is causing the problem.

Be interested to hear if anyone else has experienced this behaviour and if they figured out a solution.

    Cheers, Nigel

I was just struggling with this issue as well and it was driving me nuts until I found out that I had the "Browser Reload" extension enabled in Visual Studio which was causing this problem. Disabling the extension solved the problem for me.
