Traditional load balanced examine indexes not being rebuilt on slave servers

    Hi Guys,

We have umbraco 7.5.7 set up in a traditional load balanced environment under the File Storage on SAN/NAS/Clustered File Server/Network Share set up. we have

    CMSserver - WEBserver01 - WEBserver02

When publishing nodes the indexes are updated on the servers, so the CMS is able to access each server. This issue relates to whether or not the indexes should be completely rebuilt on each server from the Developer / Examine management section.

The issue we are having is that when we rebuild the indexes when we deploy the site they are only updated on the cms server and not on the 2 web servers unless we rebuild them locally on each server.

My question is what were trying to achieve possible?

    Thanks, Martin

    Hi Martin

Did you add useTempStorage="Sync" in ExamineSettings.configto all of your indexers and searchers?

Check please settings from this page - https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/getting-started/setup/server-setup/load-balancing/files-shared

    Thanks,

    Alex
