Use Courier to transfer forms created in Umbraco Forms/Contour

    Hi,

I have Courier Express 2.51.2 and Umbraco Forms installed on two instances of Umbraco 7.2.0 (test and live).

I can't see any options to transfer forms created on my test site to live via Courier. Is this possible and if so, how can I achieve it?

    Many thanks,

    Nathan

    Hi Nathan,

What you need to be able to use Courier to transfer forms created in Umbraco Forms/Contour is a Umbraco Forms provider in your project. First try have a look at your bin folder, to see if you already have the Umbraco.Courier.FormsProvider.dll

If you donĀ“t have it then you can get it by building the Umbraco Courier Forms provider, thant you would find here https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco.Courier.FormsProvider

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

Thanks Dennis for the prompt response. This has solved my problem :)

However I do believe that functionality like this should be included out of the box. Surely Courier can be packaged with this DLL included as standard.

The way I see it, as Umbraco Forms and Courier are paid for products, a non-developer should be able to install and use both tools out of the box.

    Cheers,

    Nathan
