    bracket syntax for confirmation email in "Umbraco Forms"

    I have a field with the name "Din email"

    If i wanted to use this as a confirmation email in contour i would use {dinemail}

    Has this changed in "Forms"? i have tried {dinemail} and {record.dinemail}

    Neither works... Any help og docs?

    Hi Claus,

    I have just tested it on Umbraco Forms 4.1.4 and it works, with the syntax that you know from Contour.

    So if you have a field called Din email, then you will need to add {dinemail} to the SenderEmail field on the workflow.

    Did you remember to save the form after adding this or did you just hit the update in the dialog box.

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

    Hi Claus,

    I have just tried to use the tool SMTP for dev, http://smtp4dev.codeplex.com/ and there as you can see on my screenshot then it takes the email from the field.

    Did you remember to save the form after the changes and not just hit update. I forgot this the first time.

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

    Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, Soooorrrryyyyyy!!!!!

    I misspelled the domain name in the sender email, which made my smtp deny sending the mail.
