Umbraco Forms - form specific markup

    Hello,

Is it possible with the new Umbraco Forms package to have form specific markup like you could with Contour, where you created a new folder with the GUID? Couldn't see it in the new documenation.

    Cheers,

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

Yup I think this is possible to have form specific markup like with Contour. Try to see the documentation about working with custom markup in Umbraco Forms http://our.umbraco.org/Documentation/Products/UmbracoForms/Developer/Custom-Markup/ And I would guess you will do it like you did in Contour

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

    Hi Dennis,

I did have a look at this but from what I could see it was no longer possible to have it specific to a form, rather now you can only edit the form.cshtml and it would apply to all forms. In contour you could create a new sub folder with the GUID of the form you want different markup for. I've tried doing it in the same way but it didn't seem work. So was wondering if there was a new way to do it in Umbraco Forms or if this functionality no longer exists?

    Cheers,

    Tom

    Hi Simon,

If you download the latest nightly build of Umbraco Forms, from here http://nightly.umbraco.org/UmbracoForms/nightlies/

Then you will get the feature where you can customize the markup for a specific form.

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

    Thanks for your answer!

Is this nightly build is stable enough to be installed in a production environment?

Nightly builds is for developers who wish to live on the bleeding edge, we offer nightly builds of all our releases as we say here

    http://umbraco.com/download/nightly-builds

So if you are comfortable with this for your production environment then you can do it.

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis

This can be a workaround for me, but I also found another workaround in this thread.

Maybe the work I have to do can be done another way.

To help me make a decision, can you tell me when the new version of Forms is planned to be released?

    Hi!

Any update about the Umbraco Forms 4.2 release date? Still no new stable version available for download.

    Thank you.

    Hi Dennis,

I am waiting for the same package now.

    Any update regarding this?

    I am using UmbracoForms.Package.4.1.4.

    Thanks a lot.
