    mail triggered

    Umbraco Forms

    Hi, I am facing issue related to mail. I have a form(contact us document type) in umbraco cms where admin email id and system email id section is there, currently have kept same email id in both places and the form is made hidden. but still its found that person is getting mail triggered. I have check the IIS setting, there is no SMTP email id saved on server and also SQL job schedular is not running. so, it seems to be somehow mail is getting trigered through cms. Can someone help with this issue..asap using umbraco version v7.1.8

    Why form is hidden?

    So the problem is the you got emails from your site?

    form is made hide because currently the requirement is like that only, so I have mark the chekbox in content to hide the form.

    After checking the server log, its found that mail is coming from the server(10.11.2.5) where the site is hosted.

    I can't understand why your form is hidden?

    The problem is that you got an email from site? what is in this email ?

    Yes, got mail from site, and blank mail is getting fired to the person from his own email id. i.e. To and From email id's are same, no subject line is present and no content is there. only to,from,date and time is there in email. and the email id which is there in email have put in Umbraco CMS, so possibility that mail is getting fired from CMS.

    kindly suggest.

    Hi Dimple

    Umbraco can't send empty emails to the user accidentally. There is some wrong settings, can you provide code or screenshots of how did you do it?
