I have just gone through the upgrade to 7.10.4 on my cloud dev and local environments and one of the changes was a fix for DropDown.Flexible content editor not saving its value when placed on nested content.
Related (or maybe not?) I now see that content entered using the dropdown editor is not transferred from the local env to the cloud (value ends up being empty on the cloud side). The result is the same both when the editor is placed on regular and nested content. My tests were for configured data types with "Enable multiple choice" unchecked, and with a list of about 10 prevalues.
Before creating a issue for this, can anyone try to reproduce this issue, just in case there's something else going on with my installation?
I see now that when transferring from dev to live, the content does get transferred.
Correction! It looks like the content in the live env is randomly chosen. Sometimes filled out, but with wrong values, sometimes empty. This is not good!
