Is there a way to set a default login and error page for Role Based node protection, so that content editors don't have to select this every single time they set up a protected node?
Either by pre-selecting nodes for login and error, or by disabling these entirely.
I have not hear heard that this should be possible, but perhaps I am wrong here. But what I normally do is to setup and protected area of the site and then you only need to set it once for the page, then child pages, would also be projected.
Setting default login and error pages for protected ("Public Access") nodes
Hi,
Is there a way to set a default login and error page for Role Based node protection, so that content editors don't have to select this every single time they set up a protected node?
Either by pre-selecting nodes for login and error, or by disabling these entirely.
Thanks!
Hi gfyans,
I have not hear heard that this should be possible, but perhaps I am wrong here. But what I normally do is to setup and protected area of the site and then you only need to set it once for the page, then child pages, would also be projected.
But it´s clear if you need to create different projected areas then you need to set it for the new node. Perhaps you can do something uisng the Umbraco Member services. https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/reference/management-v6/services/
Hope this make sense and can help you.
