    Creating a News and Events page

    Templates and document types

    Hi,

    I need to place a news and events page in my umbraco website. There are lot of news and events and will be uplaoded...Is there any option to create the pages dynamically and show them in the website?

    You may want to look in the projects section of this site where you will find packages such as Business Website Starter Pack:

    If they don't meet your needs they will certainly help you along the way to putting together your own solution.

    I would create a generic doc type for a folder.

    Create one under home for news Create one underneath for events

    Create your doc types for the news and events (or use one if that's what you need)

    Under each of the folders you created under home assign the relevant doc type.

    That's what i would do,
