    Schedule Publish for HTML Template Items

    Templates, (partial) views and macros
    Umbraco 7

    My homepage is built in pure HTML and saved as a Template file, rather than a Page. I know there is the schedule publish functionality for a page, but is there the same feature for an HTML Template?

    There is no such functionality in Umbraco. The template isn't a page.

    Is there a possible workaround for this? Surely scheduling homepage updates are quite a standard requirement?

    Could I perhaps rebuild the HTML template as a Page, for example?

    Template it's just a template, it's a code, it's not a page and you can't assign an url to the code.

    So if you want to make changes to homepage code with scheduling, it's something to think.

    This scheduler is pretty good - https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/url-task-scheduler-for-v7/

    You can create custom code that will do changes in your templates, and call this code with "Url Task Scheduler For V7"
