I have plenty of macros in my Umbraco site. After upgrading to 7.6.5, macro parameters with text box values (i.e. strings) do not save when clicking submit (after filling them in). Any idea how to fix the problem?
The also read "required" when actually they are not specified as required anywhere (and should not be required).

Yes. It's a bug and you need to upgrade to 7.6.6.
