This looks so awesome. Now my iPad nows what to do all day (see pic) Before "Now" it got a bit bored while I use my computer. It's amazing how much goes on.
I've got a suggestions that I think everybody might like. An alternative mode: The "current" only with trail. Basically just show me the newest with an infowindow. No rotation. Sow last say 50 updates. This would let you know what is exactly going on and very practical if you want to click in and follow what is actually completly current.
Cant wait to see how else signalr will be implemented on our. Topics as live conversations, chat, chat with history (might move some relevant twitter stuff back to our), ...
@jesper: Great ideas! We have integration of a JabbR chat area in the works plus a whole new "home" in the works for 2012. We'll be transparent about it all as we get closer to make sure that people can become involved if they want to!

It's super that all sharing/karma giving actions bubbles up on /now but reporting that someone is downloading might be considered a private thing?

@Wolulcmit the bug with the locator has been fixed. You will be able to find Umbraco friends now :)

Another suggestion, when I click the link in the map, it goes to the first post, wouldn't be hard to link to #commentxx, right?
