    BUG - Master Razor Pages Get Converted to .master pages if saved in the umbraco admin

    If I have a base layout page and create something that inherits from the base cshtml page and save the base layout.. umbraco converts BaseLayout.cshtml to BaseLayout.master and moves it in to the masterpages folder in umbraco 6.1.5

    Did you ever find a solution to this problem? We still see the issue on select developer machines and we are working on a solution to stop this from happening.

    I know this is an old thread, but this still happens to me on a live site with 7.1.7. This is pretty terrible because the entire site goes sideways if someone accidentally clicks the save button on the wrong page! Anyone have any suggestions?
